Wallach Kitchen
When concrete counters go bad
This kitchen was a bit of a rescue project. The clients had hired another contractor and then hired a friend who was interested in going into the ‘concrete counter business’. 6-months later the counter tops were finally installed and the kitchen was mostly finished, but the counters were cracking and things went sideways. The designer we work with called us in to demo the kitchen countertops, help with some small shifts needed to make the kitchen more functional as well as replacing the kitchen window that the former contractor said couldn’t be done.
We had all new countertops installed, a new window installed, installed a new kitchen faucet, Carrera Marble backsplash, finish trim work, some minor wiring adjustments in the half-bath and siding repair and we were done. The kitchen is now finally complete and the homeowners can enjoy for many years to come.
